What you will do

  • Lead the development, implementation, and periodic refresh of the program’s GEDSI Strategy and Action Plan.
  • Integrate GEDSI criteria into the Katalis Business Partnership Fund, including selection criteria and grantee support.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with the Government of Indonesia, civil society, and Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs).
  • Collaborate with the MEL team to monitor GEDSI targets and develop learning products for policy dialogue.
  • Oversee safeguarding systems to prevent exploitation and abuse, applying "do no harm" and "nothing about us without us" principles.
  • Promote inclusive organizational practices, inclusive recruitment, and the First Nations Engagement Plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in gender studies, economics, social sciences, public policy, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience delivering GEDSI outcomes in economic development, market systems, or trade.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience in supervising staff.
  • Experience with donor-funded programs, preferably DFAT-funded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting disaggregated data and synthesizing practical recommendations.
