What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test systems (ATE) for design validation and production.
• Plan and execute electrical and optical tests for laser sources, power meters, and sampling oscilloscopes.
• Develop test automation software using Python and LabVIEW.
• Integrate and control electronic instrumentation via SCPI and similar interfaces.
• Analyze measurement results to identify root causes of performance deviations.
• Collaborate with R&D, hardware design, and manufacturing teams to enhance product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Systems Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in validation, verification, or test engineering.
• Experience with ATE, SCPI protocols, and mixed-signal or embedded systems testing.
• Proficiency in designing test fixtures, PCBs, or measurement setups.
• Must be local to the position location; no relocation or visa sponsorship is available.
• Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAD tools such as NX or Creo for mechanical design of test setups.
• Familiarity with ISO17025 quality standards or measurement uncertainty concepts.
• Exposure to photonics, semiconductor, RF, or power electronics environments.
