What you will do

• Perform advanced security investigations across application, cloud, data, network, and perimeter security domains.
• Analyze security signals, threat intelligence, and vulnerability data to detect and remediate security issues.
• Drive long-term risk reduction through automation and the development of scalable security solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend effective containment and remediation strategies.
• Collaborate across global teams to ensure 24/7 security coverage and alignment with SLAs.
• Suggest improvements to current security detection practices and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of hands-on experience in security engineering within complex, distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Experience applying secure coding practices and working with APIs.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems and applying AI/ML concepts to security workflows.
• Must be based in Prague, Czechia and available for 24/7 follow-the-sun shift rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience leading shifts in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or CSIRT.
• Demonstrated success leading end-to-end security initiatives or projects.
• Depth in specific domains like identity and access management or detection engineering.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as SANS or CISSP.
