What you will do

• Develop software at the interface of OEM and hirify.global systems, including APIs and cross-cloud integrations.
• Collaborate directly with OEM partners to understand their needs and build impactful solutions.
• Triage and resolve technical issues reported by customers or detected via internal monitoring.
• Create monitoring and alerting tools to proactively detect and resolve integration issues.
• Participate in a follow-the-sun 24/7 on-call rotation to provide global coverage.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners during UK off-hours, managing complex issues independently.

Requirements

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions engineering, integration engineering, or technical support.
• Strong backend engineering skills, specifically with Java and Python.
• Operational experience with Cloud Infrastructure, preferably Azure.
• Fluency in both Japanese and English is essential and non-negotiable.
• Proven ability to manage complex partner relationships autonomously in ambiguous environments.
• Experience supporting production systems or participating in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Experience building APIs for external users.
• Frontend development experience.
• Background in the automotive or mobility industry.
• Experience with SRE, DevOps, or cloud operations.
• Knowledge of building or operating monitoring and observability tooling.
