TL;DR

Data Services Operations Specialist: Analyze and classify large volumes of map, search, and navigation data to identify issues and behavioral patterns with an accent on data quality and workflow optimization. Focus on building workflows, reporting insights, and contributing to map enrichment using specialized tools and OpenStreetMap.

Location: Must work from the office in Minsk during the first 3 months of probation, with periodic office visits thereafter

What you will do

• Triage, analyze, and classify large volumes of raw data to identify issues and patterns.
• Work with maps, search, and navigation data to detect quality-impacting issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Build workflows, investigate tasks, report bugs, and write summary documentation.
• Edit large datasets using specialized tools and contribute to map enrichment via OpenStreetMap.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work onsite in Minsk during probation and periodically thereafter.
• Logical thinking, independence, and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify patterns.
• English proficiency at minimum B1, preferably B2+ (English: clear spoken and written communication required).
• High attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive, high-volume tasks efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with maps, search, navigation data, or related testing/analysis.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or other technical tools.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Jira.
• Experience using AI tools for automation and workflow optimization.
• Interest in cartography and OpenStreetMap contributions.
• Basic understanding of traffic rules (driving license or driving school).
