What you will do

• Lead end-to-end development of complex security data pipelines from ingestion to canonical stores.
• Own system architecture for vulnerability scanning and endpoint protection platforms, authoring SDRs and ADRs.
• Design and build optimized REST APIs, policy evaluation engines, and projection/aggregation services.
• Drive platform reliability through availability monitoring strategies and infrastructure hardening.
• Set organizational engineering standards for code quality, design consistency, and documentation.
• Mentor Lead and Senior Engineers through PR reviews, sprint planning, and technical deep dives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of core software development experience with mastery in multiple languages.
• Strong foundation in database engineering, API development, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with infrastructure hardening and operational reliability (alerting, MTTR reduction).
• Ability to deliver large, sophisticated projects across the full software lifecycle for public consumption.
• Experience crafting architectural visions and roadmaps in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Related technical degree.

Nice to have

• 5+ years experience in computer network-related occupations.
• Proficiency in AWS, GCP, or Azure public cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Unix/Linux system administration and hardening guidelines.
• Ability to automate systems using Python or Ruby.
