What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of new features within the iOS/macOS client platform from conception to deployment.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and QA to ensure seamless delivery of critical engineering initiatives.
• Define engineering best practices and contribute to long-term architectural decisions and technical proposals.
• Mentor and coach other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and quality standard setting.
• Develop maintainable software with comprehensive test coverage and optimize CI/CD strategies.
• Champion AI-native engineering practices utilizing AI coding assistants to accelerate the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing and building scalable client features using Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI for iOS/macOS.
• Deep expertise in Apple frameworks, system architecture, and client-side security.
• Expert knowledge of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization on Apple platforms.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols such as FIDO, U2F, WebAuthn, SSO, SAML, or OAuth.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, or certifications like CISSP or Security+.
