What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of technical artists, acting as the primary bridge between art and programming departments.
• Oversee the creation of technical art solutions to balance visual quality with performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and project leads to establish high artistic and technical standards.
• Develop and optimize workflows, tools, and pipelines for environment design and VFX.
• Innovate within Unreal Engine 5 to push the limits of real-time graphics.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and optimize overall game performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Technical Artist role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, including at least one full game production cycle.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization and PBR workflows.
• Proficiency in procedural content generation, VFX, lighting, and shader creation.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic is required (no visa sponsorship).
