TL;DR

Junior Bookmaker (iGaming): Managing odds and risk exposure for sporting events with an accent on market monitoring and accurate match settlement. Focus on optimizing side markets, analyzing customer betting patterns, and ensuring operational stability of the sportsbook.

Location: Hybrid (Stockholm, Sweden). Must be based in Stockholm, Sweden

Salary: 30 000 – 35 000 SEK gross per month

What you will do

  • Create, manage, and optimize odds and side markets for assigned sporting events throughout their full lifecycle.
  • Actively manage risk by monitoring betting activity, market movements, and customer betting patterns.
  • Ensure accurate event settlement and match resulting, handling manual updates where necessary.
  • Manage Sportsbook-related operational tickets and requests to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide expertise and training to Customer Support teams regarding sportsbook products and tools.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify opportunities for improving the offering.

Requirements

  • Strong passion for sports and good knowledge of the industry, particularly Swedish football and ice hockey.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and risk concepts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Swedish.
  • Must be based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Nice to have

  • Early experience in Sportsbook bookmaking or a related field.
  • Experience with R, Python, or similar analytical tools.
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
