TL;DR

Solution Architect (D365/ERP): Designing and governing the implementation of D365 CRM and ERP systems with an accent on data modelling, system integration, and scalability. What you will do

• Create architectural blueprints and technical documentation for D365 CE, Field Service, and Power Platform.
• Design complex integrations between CRM, ERP, and third-party applications using APIs and specialized tools.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications through stakeholder workshops.
• Establish and lead a Technical Design Authority to provide solution governance and advice to the CIO.
• Conduct solution discovery and fit-gap analyses to support the Third-Party SI.
• Manage a backlog of Architecturally Significant Requirements to drive design decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft D365 Solution Architecture.
• Proven track record as a Lead Solution Architect on large-scale implementation projects.
• Deep expertise in end-to-end D365 ERP and CRM implementations, including finance and HR integrations.
• Strong proficiency in agile delivery environments and Microsoft/SureStep design methods.
• Expertise in using Azure DevOps and Confluence for development enablement.
• Location: Must be based in Central Glasgow.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating D365 with external non-Microsoft systems.
• Formal Solution Architecture qualification or Diploma.
• Experience within services businesses, specifically maintenance and field services.
