💥 Tango is hiring a NOC Engineer
💡 What you'll do:
• Be the first line of defense for production incidents, assessing severity and business impact.
• Monitor systems using advanced tools to detect anomalies and prevent outages.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, resolving major incidents swiftly.
• Communicate effectively by escalating incidents to the appropriate teams.
• Maintain and grow our Runbook library and NOC knowledge base.
• Analyze system reliability and implement improvements for observability and recovery.
• Lead incident management and review processes.
• Execute operational and security requests per established runbooks.
• Own individual projects to develop expertise and deliver improvements.
🎯 What we expect:
• 3+ years in application monitoring or production support.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Slack/ integrations.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, Spinnaker.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate English (spoken & written).
• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask under pressure.
• Experience with service-based applications.
📍 Position is at our Warsaw location. Shift work required (08-17, 09-18, 14-22, 22-08 CET).
⭐ Nice to have:
• Production support experience in public cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• 1+ years of Linux administration experience.
• Interest in automation and reliability improvement.
