What you will do

• Coordinate and manage Education project implementation, including activities, budgets, and project documentation.
• Provide line management for project staff and ensure capacity building and skill transfer.
• Contribute to the development of Country, Area, and Education strategies and initiate new projects.
• Liaise and collaborate with local authorities and key stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.
• Ensure projects target the most vulnerable beneficiaries and align with international best practices.
• Represent the organization at coordination forums and promote the rights of displaced people.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience in a senior project implementation role within a humanitarian or recovery context.
• Proven experience working in complex and volatile environments.
• Technical expertise in the field of education.
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required.
• Willingness to travel and work in hard-to-reach areas under strenuous conditions.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NGO operations and humanitarian sector dynamics in Borno State.
• Demonstrated background and knowledge of major humanitarian donors.
• Previous experience in emergency preparedness and response.
• Experience with start-up or expansion of new programs.
