What you will do

• Build reliable data pipelines, models, and datasets for IT controls, covering access, identity, configuration, and evidence data.
• Create data quality, lineage, and reconciliation checks to ensure control data is defensible for SOX and other audits.
• Design automated evidence generation workflows to produce accurate audit populations, exports, and dashboards.
• Develop control monitoring logic to detect drift, stale access, direct system changes, and other exceptions.
• Collaborate with Security, IT, Infrastructure, Engineering, and Risk Management to validate source systems and improve automation.
• Translate technical system behavior and data flows into clear explanations for auditors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong experience in data engineering or analytics engineering, focusing on building reliable datasets and pipelines.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL and at least one scripting language, such as Python.
• Experience working with enterprise system data, including identity platforms, HR systems, and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, lineage, completeness, accuracy, and observability.
• Background in supporting security, IT controls, SOX, audit readiness, or regulated technology environments.
• Ability to explain complex technical systems and control logic to both engineering and audit stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Entra ID, Workday, GitHub, Databricks, or Salesforce.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
