TL;DR

Senior IT Cloud Engineer (Azure): Implementing and maintaining cloud services in MS Azure for a fintech platform with an accent on high availability, disaster recovery, and security. Focus on deploying IaC, managing AKS, and ensuring reliability of critical financial technology systems.

Location: Hybrid in Athens, Greece

What you will do

  • Deploy and maintain multi-geography MS Azure cloud services using IaaS, PaaS, and IaC.
  • Implement cloud integration and interoperability with on-premise infrastructure.
  • Design and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) infrastructure to ensure system reliability.
  • Configure and manage monitoring and full-stack observability platforms.
  • Ensure cloud security by implementing best practices and utilizing the Azure Defender ecosystem.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure costs and coordinate with vendors for problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud deployment and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Entra ID, MS Identity, Federations, Azure DevOps, and AKS.
  • Experience with Microsoft products including Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, and SQL.
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Athens, Greece.

Nice to have

  • Certification in Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305).
  • Certification in Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700).
  • Certification in Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140).
  • Azure Security certifications.
