What you will do

• Execute, monitor, and control mainframe SIT/UAT batch jobs to ensure completion within defined SLAs.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve batch job failures, abends, and data dependency issues.
• Manage input/output datasets and file transfers between upstream and downstream systems.
• Perform job restarts, reruns, and recovery procedures according to established runbooks.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to application support or system programming teams.
• Utilize mainframe scheduling tools to maintain environment integrity.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a mainframe environment.
• Must be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• Working knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, VSAM, CICS, and ControlM.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining SIT/UAT environments for mainframe-based applications.
• Strong communication and coordination skills for working in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related domain.

Nice to have

• Understanding of cards and payments systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 8583 messaging standards.
• Experience with JIRA and Remedy Workflow Application.
• Background in banking or financial services environments.
