What you will do

• Oversee multi-jurisdictional tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT) with full accountability for accuracy and timeliness of filings.
• Lead tax audit execution across jurisdictions, drafting responses to revenue authority queries and aligning positions with Group strategy.
• Own Group ETR analysis and reporting, translating key drivers into clear explanations for senior stakeholders.
• Provide functional oversight and direction to in-country finance teams to align local practices with Group standards.
• Drive standardization of compliance processes and support automation initiatives to reduce manual dependency.
• Monitor regulatory developments across East, West, and Southern Africa to provide guidance for the business.

Requirements

• Proven track record in multi-jurisdictional African tax compliance and audit management.
• Professional qualification: ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in tax audit execution and dispute resolution with revenue authorities.
• Capability to translate complex technical tax positions into risk assessments and business-ready guidance.
• Strong project management discipline to manage multiple compliance deadlines simultaneously.
• Must be based in Kenya.
