3D Environment Artist (AAA Games)

Location: Yerevan, Armenia; on-site

Global game development partner creating and expanding a large live-service AAA title with an international team.

What you will do

• Create modular level art assets, architectural props, and other environment assets from scratch.
• Build trim sheets, tileable textures, and unique textures for high-quality stylized assets.
• Combine modeling and texture resources effectively to create vibrant game environments.
• Optimize assets for different platforms by creating LODs and collisions.

Requirements

• Two years of professional video game industry experience building architecture and props.
• Strong 3D modeling skills across a variety of styles, including manual adjustment of weighted normals.
• Strong knowledge of baking and texturing with Marmoset, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
• Ability to bake assets made of multiple parts seamlessly.
• Ability to work with Unreal Engine 5.
• Strong ability to create and combine trim sheets, tileable textures, and unique textures.

Nice to have

• Strong experience with Maya.
• Passion for game creation and ability to learn quickly.
