What you will do

• Develop and maintain QA procedures and testing processes for data pipeline initiatives.
• Track, document, and report quality metrics for software and data pipeline development efforts.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality, defect-free solutions.
• Conduct root cause and causal analysis for defects to identify corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain issue and defect logs for risk management and trend analysis.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar manual testing role.
• Experience testing data-heavy applications, ETL pipelines, or API-driven integrations.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and query-based verification of application behavior.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, UAT).
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools like Jira and TestRail.
• English: Upper-Intermediate level required.

Nice to have

• Experience working with financial systems.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and experience with tools like Postman.
• Familiarity with Confluence and CI/CD concepts.
