TL;DR

Data IT Delivery Lead (Data Mesh): Managing the technical delivery of data product teams and scaling data products on cloud platforms with an accent on data mesh architecture and engineering excellency. Focus on aligning business needs with IT development, ensuring operational reliability through SLOs, and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of domain data products.

Location: Must be based in Slovakia (remote work only available within the country due to taxation regulations)

Salary: Base salary from 2,300 € brutto + variable part

What you will do

  • Lead technical delivery for data product teams, including design, scaling, and roadmap prioritization.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of domain data products, covering ingestion, pipelines, transformations, and APIs.
  • Define and enforce domain-level data product standards and ensure compliance with enterprise data governance.
  • Collaborate as a technical co-leader with business domain owners to align delivery with measurable business outcomes.
  • Ensure operational stability and reliability of data products by meeting agreed Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Manage technical debt and architectural evolution to balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Slovakia.
  • Strong expertise in Data Product architecture and domain-oriented design (Data Mesh).
  • Proven experience building and operating scalable data products on modern cloud-based platforms.
  • Deep understanding of data engineering practices (pipelines, transformations, API-based access).
  • Experience leading large data engineering and product teams.
  • English: C1 level required.

Nice to have

  • German language skills (B2 level).
  • Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
