What you will do

• Set technical direction and standards across three engineering squads.
• Lead the design and optimization of internal and external API management frameworks.
• Define a coherent framework for developing, configuring, and maintaining AI agents and chatbots.
• Bridge collaboration between Engineering, Data Science, and Infrastructure/Security teams.
• Ensure Azure-based services are scalable, reliable, and optimized for developer experience.
• Establish standards for security and budget management regarding AI token usage and compute costs.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Azure services (AKS, App Service, Functions, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB).
• Strong background in C#/.NET or Python.
• Proven experience in API design and API Gateway management.
• Solid experience with LLM, Embeddings, and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform/Bicep).
• Deep understanding of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

Nice to have

• Expertise with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi-agent design patterns.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Aspire.
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, or Kafka.
