What you will do

• Serve as the company-wide leader for quality engineering, driving practices and execution to maintain a high quality bar.
• Lead and mentor a team of 5 AI-enabled QA Engineers, guiding them toward scalable quality practices.
• Develop an AI-native quality engineering strategy to scale coverage and accelerate validation.
• Build AI-driven testing workflows and automation frameworks to reduce manual effort and surface failures early.
• Own the quality feedback loop by translating customer feedback, A/B testing, and bug reports into better test coverage.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve testability and shape acceptance criteria from the start.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or SDET roles, with ownership of test strategy for complex systems.
• Experience leveraging AI to increase test coverage and build smarter validation workflows.
• Deep knowledge of automation, API/integration testing, and CI/CD-based quality gates.
• Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and influence stakeholders across Engineering and Product.
• Mastery of risk-based test design and the ability to distinguish between automation and manual exploration.
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience testing LLM-powered systems, including evaluating hallucinations and non-deterministic behavior.
• Experience working in professional services delivery or FDE environments.
