TL;DR

Angular Frontend Web Developer (Angular): Building and maintaining large-scale federal technology modernization web applications with an accent on accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and design system integration. Focus on translating Figma designs into production code, implementing RESTful API integrations, and achieving high test coverage.

Location: Remote (Must be U.S. citizens or currently authorized to work in the United States)

What you will do

  • Develop Angular components and UI features based on Figma designs and shared Design System patterns.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with backend developers on data contracts and request/response structures.
  • Write component, service, and integration tests to maintain at least 90% branch coverage.
  • Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508) using semantic HTML and ARIA attributes.
  • Contribute to the Design System governance by proposing new components and documenting patterns.
  • Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and perform code reviews within a 1-business-day turnaround.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend web development.
  • Proficiency in Angular (12+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience translating Figma designs into pixel-accurate production code.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
  • U.S. citizenship or full authorization to work in the U.S. is required; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience with federal government contracts and FAR regulations.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Experience with automated accessibility tools like aXe, pa11y, or WAVE.
  • Knowledge of E2E testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
