What you will do

• Prepare financial statements and reports while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop annual budgets, manage forecasts, and analyze variances.
• Conduct financial analysis to provide strategic insights to senior management for business decision-making.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor company expenses.
• Oversee cash flow planning and maintain critical banking relationships.
• Identify financial risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred).
• Professional accounting designation such as ACCA or CPA.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting software.
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
• Must be based in Uganda for on-site work.
