What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, consultant, and collaboration agreements.
• Serve as a strategic legal advisor to sales, operations, and finance leadership.
• Identify legal risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
• Manage contract databases and track project status for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and data-driven analytics.
• Partner on digital transformation initiatives including AI governance and data privacy.

Requirements

• Must be a fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist/in) in Germany with both state examinations.
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in commercial contract negotiation, preferably in life sciences or CDMO.
• Full professional fluency in English is required.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms and digital repositories.
• Ability to distill complex legal issues into practical business guidance.
• Eligibility for registration as an in-house counsel to the German bar.
