Technical Lead (Azure AI)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Own the technical success of engagements, ensuring architectural coherence across services, data, and AI components.
• Drive and document technical decisions through Architectural Decision Records (ADRs), including database selection and integration patterns.
• Establish engineering standards for trunk-based development, IaC (Terraform/Bicep), and CI/CD quality gates.
• Lead code and design reviews and enforce SOC 2 control mappings for logical access and audit trails.
• Collaborate with solution architects and client stakeholders to translate domain requirements into production-ready designs.
• Mentor engineers on Azure architecture, event sourcing, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) design patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience, including at least 3 years as a Technical Lead or Staff Engineer.
• Expert-level proficiency in Azure architecture (Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, AI Search, AKS, Cosmos DB, Entra ID).
• Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and Python, with the ability to set patterns across both languages.
• Hands-on experience with Medallion data architecture, RAG patterns, and prompt versioning.
• Proven experience working in regulated environments (financial or professional services) with strict audit and compliance requirements.
• English: Proficient written and spoken English (85%) required.
• Location: Must be based in LATAM.

• Experience with durable orchestration (Azure Durable Functions or equivalent).
• Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS platforms such as financial or ERP systems.
• Confidence-gated agentic workflows experience.
