Location: Bastrop, TX. Must be based in or be able to relocate to the Austin, TX area. Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee).

What you will do

• Analyze, refine, and approve CMF across active projects to ensure quality and brand alignment.
• Curate and maintain an internal library of innovative materials and finishes.
• Develop and visualize compelling CMF design proposals that push creative and technical boundaries.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to implement production-ready solutions.
• Guide CMF execution from early prototypes through full-scale production.
• Build and nurture supplier relationships to enable groundbreaking material innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, transportation, product, or architecture design.
• 1+ years of professional CMF experience.
• U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR) compliance: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, Refugee, or Asylee.
• Strong visual portfolio is mandatory for consideration.

Nice to have

• Deep technical expertise in mass production and manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional color acuity (perfect score on Munsell Hue Color Test).
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, and KeyShot.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when required.
