What you will do

• Write and edit content for blogs, social media, campaigns, and websites.
• Apply SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices to digital content and website.
• Assist in drafting media outreach materials and communication assets.
• Maintain brand consistency across all written and visual materials.
• Translate written content into visually effective multimedia assets and PowerPoint presentations.
• Monitor social media channels and support overall content creation.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Strong writing and editing skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for creating polished documents.
• Must be based in the Lexington/Columbia, SC area (preferred).
• Must pass a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check in compliance with the FBI's CJIS Security Policy.

Nice to have

• Experience with image editing or creative design tools.
• Interest in public safety technology, including drones and AI.
