Nestlé R&D ищет Computational Biologist для разработки computational models и multi-omics workflows в задачах nutrition & health research. Роль включает работу с systems biology, metabolomics, genomics, Python/R и интеграцией biological experiments с computational simulations.

👩‍🔬 Чем предстоит заниматься:
Collaborate with scientists to translate research questions into computational models that accurately reflect biological systems and physiological reality.
Ensure that modeling outputs generate actionable insights to test hypotheses on the impact of food and nutrition on health, guide experimental design, and support the analysis and interpretation of multi-omics datasets from clinical studies.
Link biological experiments with computational simulations to create integrated, reproducible workflows that improve efficiency and scientific rigor.
Enable structured interpretation of complex datasets to generate new hypotheses and inform the development of nutritional solutions aimed at improving health outcomes.
Develop mechanistic models and predictive frameworks that clarify how diet and nutrients influence biological systems across multiple scales.
Support scientists in understanding causal pathways and biological drivers, strengthening evidence generation and reducing uncertainty in decision-making.
Contribute to de-risking translation from discovery to clinical intervention through quantitative modeling and data-driven prioritization.
Prepare collaborative reports and presentations that translate modeling results into clear biological understanding and tangible scientific and business value.

🎯 Что от тебя требуется:
Master’s degree or PhD in Computational Biology.
5-7 years of experience in computational biology.
Hands-on experience developing and applying computational models (e.g., systems biology, metabolic/constraint-based, or agent-based) to biological questions.
Practical skills in Python and/or R, with exposure to Linux/Unix environments, workflow tools (e.g., Snakemake, Nextflow), and version control (Git).
Experience working with omics or biological datasets (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, microbiome) and applying standard analysis and visualization techniques.
Ability to bridge biology ↔️ data ↔️ modelling, translating biological problems into computational frameworks and model outputs into actionable insights.
Experience with multi-omics analyses from human cohort or interventional data sets and background in principles of aging research are a strong plus
Ability to coach junior staff in computational biology approaches and data analytics
Strong communication skills to present modelling outcomes clearly to experimental scientists and cross-functional teams.
Curiosity and motivation to stay updated on advances in computational biology, modelling approaches, and their application to nutrition and health research.
