What you will do

• Lead technical design and optimization of national HIS platforms, including DHIS2, EMRs, and LMIS, for HIV, malaria, and MCH.
• Conduct system architecture reviews and digital maturity diagnostics to identify gaps and recommend scalable infrastructure for the Nigerien context.
• Collaborate with Ministries of Health and national coordination forums to plan and facilitate technical convenings.
• Mentor national and regional HIS staff to strengthen local technical capacity and sustainability.
• Support business development and partner engagement across Anglophone Africa.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, or Public Health.
• Deep knowledge of interoperability standards such as HL7 FHIR, OpenHIE, and IHE profiles.
• Experience conducting system architecture reviews and HIS landscape analyses.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital system lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated experience working with Ministries of Health or public health programs.
• English proficiency is required.
