TL;DR

Customer Support Specialist (AI): Managing end-to-end subscription and billing operations for hirify.global and Windsurf customers with an accent on resolving complex payment, invoicing, and account access issues. Focus on partnering with Finance and Engineering to streamline billing workflows, improve internal tooling, and ensure high-quality customer outcomes in a fast-paced AI environment.

Location: On-site in San Francisco

What you will do

  • Own incoming subscription and billing tickets from initial response through resolution.
  • Provide empathetic and accurate communication for sensitive billing situations.
  • Triage issues and escalate to Finance or Engineering when necessary.
  • Partner with Finance on invoicing, purchase orders, tax/VAT, and payment reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve billing system bugs and product edge cases.
  • Build internal playbooks, macros, and documentation to improve support efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer support, billing operations, or revenue operations.
  • Familiarity with subscription billing platforms like Stripe or Chargebee.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Pylon, or Intercom.
  • Excellent written communication and strong operational judgment.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of concurrent tickets with high attention to detail.
  • Interest in AI and developer tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting enterprise customers with procurement and purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of subscription concepts like proration, disputes, and renewals.
  • Experience writing help center articles and operational runbooks.
  • Proven track record of identifying recurring issues and improving internal processes.
