What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable core platforms for financial flows, ensuring data completeness, consistency, quality, and compliance in different regions.
• Build integrations with hirify.global's existing backend services and various third-party tools and APIs.
• Set the technical direction for the new domain and establish engineering standards aligned with ITGC / DORA requirements.
• Provide technical leadership - mentoring engineers, driving system design reviews, and raising the bar for quality.
• Partner with Finance, Commerce, and Product stakeholders to translate complex regulatory and operational needs into reliable automations.
• Help lead features and initiatives from idea to positive execution.

Requirements

• Solid backend engineering experience and a track record of designing and shipping scalable, reliable systems.
• Experience in finance, fintech, payments, tax, or accounting domains is a strong advantage.
• Experience with microservice architecture and API design.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Empathy for stakeholders and end-users, and thrive in an environment with a fast feedback cycle.
• Previous technical leadership or tech-lead experience is a plus.
