Location: On-site in Brno, Czech Republic. Relocation support provided for EU citizens.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor the technical art team, acting as the primary bridge between art and engineering.
• Oversee the creation of technical art solutions, balancing visual quality with performance.
• Collaborate with the Art Director to maintain high artistic and technical standards.
• Develop and optimize workflows, tools, and pipelines for environment design and VFX.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and provide strategic solutions to remove blockers.
• Push the technical capabilities of Unreal Engine to achieve groundbreaking visual quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Technical Artist role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, including at least one full game production cycle.
• Must be eligible to work in the Czech Republic; no visa sponsorship available.
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, PBR workflows, and shader creation.
• Proven leadership experience in a technical art capacity.
• Open to relocation to Brno, Czech Republic.
