Group Manager - Data Center Strategy Office, Infrastructure Services Department (INSD) (Data Center Strategy): Developing and executing data center business strategies, financial plans, capacity models, and partner agreements with an accent on AI/GPU-ready infrastructure, P&L management, demand planning, and renewable energy initiatives. Focus on leading a high-performing team, analyzing markets and competitors, optimizing pricing and inventory, and negotiating colocation and service-level contracts.

What you will do
- Develop and execute mid- to long-term data center business strategies, including AI/GPU-ready infrastructure capacity and renewable energy initiatives.
- Create and manage annual and mid-term business plans, P&L, pricing strategies, market analysis, and financial targets.
- Build demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory allocation, and supply-demand coordination models.
- Negotiate and manage partner and customer contracts, including colocation agreements, service-level agreements, renewals, and RFP/RFI processes.
- Lead and develop the Data Center Strategy Group, set KPIs, and build a high-performing team.
- Coordinate data center expansion projects and collaborate with General Affairs, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and external partners.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of management experience in high-transformation or high-uncertainty environments, including team building during organizational launch or expansion.
- Proven experience in business planning, P&L management, financial analysis, demand and supply planning, and inventory management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Fluent Japanese and English are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/GPU infrastructure planning or IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services.
- Knowledge of green energy and renewable energy initiatives in the data center industry.
- Experience in colocation procurement, contract negotiation, data center design, or operations.
- Knowledge of data center regulations and laws.
- Global team management experience.
