What you will do

• Lead multiple software engineering teams in designing and operating highly available, performant, and secure services.
• Define and drive the technical strategy and long-term architecture for the landing page platform.
• Set engineering quality, reliability, and operational excellence standards, including CI/CD and incident response.
• Hire, develop, and mentor engineers and managers to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve customer outcomes and product efficiency.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, managing risks and cross-team dependencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented or functional programming, system design (LLD), and API design.
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and production operations for multi-service systems.
• Must be based in or able to work from Rome, Italy.

• Experience leading multiple teams or broad technical areas in distributed systems at scale.
• Track record of improving system reliability and cost efficiency through data-driven experimentation.
• Advanced experience with production-scale AI/ML capabilities like personalization, ranking, or intelligent automation.
