Chief Risk Officer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Chief Risk Officer (Fintech): Designing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework and risk strategy for a smart financial app with an accent on regulatory compliance and Enterprise Risk Management. Focus on managing credit, market, and operational risks, implementing ICAAP/ILAAP/RCAAP, and interacting with the National Bank of Ukraine.

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Knowledge of NBU requirements implied)

What you will do

• Design and implement the Bank’s risk strategy and comprehensive risk management framework in line with regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and control credit, market, operational, and liquidity risks.
• Establish and develop the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, including policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• Define and monitor the Bank’s risk appetite and key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Organize and oversee stress testing and capital/liquidity management processes, specifically ICAAP, ILAAP, and RCAAP.
• Lead the risk function and prepare regulatory reports for the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and the National Bank of Ukraine.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of risk management experience in the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).
• Hands-on experience with ICAAP, ILAAP, and RCAAP implementation.
• Fluent English; CVs must be submitted in English.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
