DevSecOps Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

DevSecOps Engineer (AI/Cloud): Ownership of security posture for infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across SaaS, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments with an accent on container security and compliance. Focus on embedding security into the engineering lifecycle, automating security scanning, and designing secure network architectures for regulated customers.

Location: Hybrid (Graz, Austria). Full remote work is not possible; candidate must be based in Austria.

What you will do

• Embed security into the full engineering lifecycle, from code commit through production deployment.
• Build and maintain automated security scanning (SAST, DAST, secret/image scanning) integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Own secrets management, container hardening, and secure baseline configuration across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Support compliance and audit readiness for government and regulated customers.
• Design secure network architectures for cloud, hybrid, or on-prem deployments.
• Respond to security incidents and vulnerability disclosures via triage, remediation, and documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with container and Kubernetes security in production environments.
• Background working in or alongside regulated or government environments.
• Strong Linux system administration skills with the ability to harden hosts and debug security incidents.
• Solid understanding of networking, PKI, and secrets management.
• Scripting proficiency in Python and Bash.
• Must be based in Austria as full remote work is not possible.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOC or ISO certification.
• Knowledge of GPU workload security for ML inference pipelines.
• Familiarity with OpenShift and hardening OS/image builds.
