What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality iOS features using Swift and modern frameworks.
• Lead architectural design for complex system components to ensure maintainability, scalability, and reliability.
• Optimize app performance, startup time, memory usage, and stability across diverse devices.
• Collaborate with ML, backend, and infrastructure teams to deliver AI-driven mobile experiences.
• Contribute to the evolution of hirify.global's mobile platform, SDKs, and shared modules.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to strengthen the overall technical capabilities of the team.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, Foundation).
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, or VIPER.
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale mobile applications and complex codebases.
• English: CEFR B2 level required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Tokyo, Japan.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI concurrency (async/await) and modern iOS platform capabilities.
• Expertise in performance optimization, instrumentation, and mobile observability.
• Contributions to open-source iOS projects or active involvement in the mobile community.
• Japanese language proficiency (CEFR B2).
• Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile, automated testing frameworks, and release management.
