What you will do
- Serve as the primary people manager for Thailand-based engineers, overseeing 1:1s, feedback cycles, and individual development plans.
- Manage day-to-day operational layers, including task allocation and priority adjustments within a Kanban system.
- Track Kanban progress and resolve blockers to ensure consistent delivery without impeding technical leadership.
- Generate structured monthly reports for upper management on team KPIs, risks, and actionable remediation plans.
- Lead onboarding for new hires and participate in hiring panels to evaluate culture fit and communication.
- Maintain technical credibility to participate in engineering discussions and uphold documentation and Definition of Done standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in people management or team coordination within a tech team.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong communication skills in English for representing team dynamics and delivery status to upper management.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive interpersonal issues and lead team development with a leadership mindset.
- Ability to translate technical constraints into actionable project timelines and assess scope during planning.
