TL;DR

Brand Designer (Legaltech): Developing and evolving the visual identity and brand systems for a global legal AI platform with an accent on multi-channel execution and sub-brand development. Focus on bridging systematic thinking with intuitive making to deliver polished brand assets across advertising, social, and experiential channels.

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, Calgary, or Toronto (office attendance min. twice per week)

Salary: $71,500 – $96,700 CAD

What you will do

  • Concept and execute brand designs across advertising, social, case studies, and experiential channels.
  • Own the full project lifecycle from initial brief through final QA and delivery.
  • Extend and evolve the visual brand while maintaining consistency.
  • Create new visual identities and design systems for hirify.global sub-brands.
  • Support marketing and demand generation campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creative leads and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of brand design experience in-house or at a creative agency.
  • Portfolio demonstrating brand systems and multi-channel execution.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • Experience with AI design tools like Midjourney or Krea.
  • Strong visual storytelling and storyboarding skills.
  • Must be based in Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver.

Nice to have

  • Experience scaling brand design systems.
  • Background in SaaS, legal tech, or regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in presentation design (Keynote, Google Slides).
  • Advanced knowledge of typography.
