TL;DR

HR Business Partner (HRBP): Partnering with the Patient Experience function to drive organizational growth and transformation with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and management coaching. Focus on building scalable people processes and supporting teams in a fast-paced operational environment while collaborating with UK-based stakeholders.

Location: On-site in Cape Town, South Africa (must align with UK business hours).

What you will do

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to Team Leads and Managers within the Patient Experience team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on performance management, wellbeing, conduct, and employee relations.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from induction and probation to offboarding.
  • Coach managers to lead effectively in alignment with company culture and values.
  • Collaborate on key people initiatives, process improvements, and organizational development projects.
  • Ensure policy implementation and provide practical HR guidance.

Requirements

  • Strong HR generalist or HRBP experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience supporting large frontline or customer-focused teams.
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
  • Confidence in handling employee relations with a calm and pragmatic approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Must be based in Cape Town and able to work on-site while collaborating with UK-based teams.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience using HR systems such as HiBob.
