What you will do

  • Design and maintain complex backend services for the Achievements & Gamification squad.
  • Integrate AI agents into engineering processes to drive automation and efficiency.
  • Lead architectural decisions and ensure high standards for code quality and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with product teams to track KPIs and deliver measurable business value.
  • Mentor less experienced developers and promote best practices like TDD and pair programming.
  • Participate in incident resolution and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brazil
  • At least 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in at least two languages such as Go, Scala, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis).
  • Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with AWS cloud-based architectures.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese required

Nice to have

  • Experience with A/B testing and feature toggles.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
