QA Engineer (Gaming)

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan; hybrid or office-based work. Relocation assistance is available for joining the team in Almaty.

Independent gaming studio developing OneState, a hardcore mobile Social RP game built with Unity in a realistic open world.

What you will do

• Test the game through exploratory, regression, stress, UI, usability, and client-server interaction testing.
• Perform manual testing during development on Android and iOS.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, test plans, checklists, and testing documentation.
• Write bug reports using internal templates, prioritize issues, track their lifecycle, and monitor fixes.
• Collaborate closely with developers across the Legacy and Monetization teams.

Requirements

• At least three years of functional testing experience on Android and iOS.
• Understanding of agile development, task and bug tracking systems, and task lifecycle management.
• Native Russian language.
• Understanding of Android and iOS device specifics, plus experience with databases and client-server interaction testing.
• Experience with Unity and Git.
• Experience with large-scale midcore or hardcore games and extensive gaming experience.
