What you will do

• Design the entire Data Handling Subsystem for various missions and platforms, specifically for the RISE program.
• Define subsystem architecture, data interfaces, data budgets, and configure data protocols.
• Develop input specifications for Data Handling units and manage technical exchange with suppliers.
• Create Design and Development Plans and coordinate technical meetings.
• Support system AIV/AIT definitions and conduct testing at unit, subsystem, and system levels.
• Provide operational support during the mission phase.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronic or Space Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in data handling architecture.
• Proficiency with data interfaces (CAN/CANopen, SpW, SpaceFibre, HSSL, RS-422) and protocols (MIL1553, CCSDS, PUS, CFDP).
• Knowledge of ASW architecture for Multicore on-board computers and ECSS processes (DDV and AIV).
• Must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
