Fraud Officer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Fraud Officer (Fintech): Designing and optimizing fraud compliance processes and oversight for shared services with an accent on fraud detection and prevention. Location: Must be based in Lithuania (Hybrid, in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week in Vilnius)

Salary: €3,920 – €4,580 gross monthly

What you will do

• Maintain and enhance oversight of onboarding and fraud operations, including monitoring service-level agreements.
• Review and challenge first-line fraud detection and prevention activities, alert dispositions, and case escalations.
• Develop and deliver training programs for first-line fraud teams to ensure operational consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Support the timely and accurate filing of fraud-related Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Develop reporting metrics to present fraud trends and operational updates to management and the board.
• Partner with legal, risk, and fraud teams to assess and address fraud risks across the business.

Requirements

• Experience in fraud detection, prevention, and investigations.
• Ability to develop and maintain oversight programs for shared services functions.
• Must be based in Lithuania.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings and presenting recommendations.
• Experience operating effectively in a multinational fintech environment.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear reporting metrics and actionable insights.
