What you will do

• Design and build scalable APIs, microservices, and frontend features.
• Navigate and contribute to diverse codebases to unblock critical projects and close technical gaps.
• Ship high-quality, maintainable code that balances pragmatism with long-term sustainability.
• Collaborate with staff engineers, product managers, and designers to define and deliver impactful solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate development velocity.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and edge cases in existing systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or technical leadership role.
• Strong full-stack proficiency with Kotlin/Java (backend) and React/JS (frontend).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Deep expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Proven ability to work autonomously and quickly adapt to new domains with minimal onboarding.
• Must be based in Germany, Italy, Portugal, or Spain.
