Game Programmer (Unity)

TL;DR

Game Programmer (Unity/C#): Building and establishing the technical foundation for a new partner game production on an existing IP with an accent on scalable gameplay systems and architecture. Location: Hybrid (Aarhus, Denmark) or Remote with occasional visits to Aarhus

What you will do

• Establish the project and define the technical direction for a new partner game.
• Build scalable gameplay systems from scratch.
• Develop compelling user experiences specifically for PC.
• Create internal tools for game designers to streamline production pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with the Game Director to shape architecture and workflows.

Requirements

• Deep professional experience with Unity and C#.
• Proven track record of shipping multiple game titles for PC.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, OOP, and software architecture.
• Experience developing games from the initial concept through to production and release.
• Ability to take full technical responsibility as the primary programmer on a project.

Nice to have

• Experience with console or mobile game development.
• Experience working with existing IPs and navigating stakeholder requirements.
