Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (Android) (Kotlin/Java): Building and maintaining Android applications for real-time chat, VoIP calling, and number masking with an accent on system design, API integration, responsive interfaces, and production stability. Focus on optimizing mobile performance, designing modern Android architectures, implementing automated tests, and mentoring engineers while collaborating with product, design, QA, and backend teams.
Location: Onsite in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What you will do
- Own the Android engineering surface for real-time chat, VoIP calling, and number masking products.
- Design and develop Android applications with Kotlin and Java using modern architectural patterns and Material Design.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, SDKs, and dependency management tools.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex production issues, and improve stability across devices and screen sizes.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to Agile planning and retrospectives.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and backend engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience, including shipping production applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with strong knowledge of the Android SDK, lifecycle management, Jetpack libraries, and modern architecture components.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Experience with Git, responsive UI/UX implementation, Material Design, testing frameworks, and maintainable code.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, code reviews, debugging, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure mobile development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring developers and working with customers or partners.
