What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines (batch and real-time) using Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
• Operationalize ML models and streamline feature engineering in partnership with Data Science and ML teams.
• Automate data flows and enhance internal analytics efficiency using dbt.
• Develop synthetic data generation pipelines to support model training and privacy-safe testing.
• Drive engineering excellence through Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Design systems ensuring strict adherence to security, privacy, and data governance policies.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Python for data manipulation and backend development.
• Deep experience with cloud data warehousing (Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift) and scalable data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong architectural understanding of relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases.
• Strong foundations in software engineering, including OOP and Git version control.
• Mandatory residency and work authorization in Croatia, Serbia, Romania, or Bulgaria.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the machine learning development lifecycle.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying data applications.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform.
• Proficiency in the broader GCP or AWS ecosystems.
