Focus on drafting complex agreements, managing commercial disputes, and acting as a strategic partner to internal business units.

Location: Must be based in Lima, Peru (Hybrid role with occasional visits to foundry and plant)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements to protect business interests.
• Collaborate weekly with Sourcing, Engineering, Sales, and Procurement teams.
• Manage commercial disputes and claims with independent judgment and strategic advice.
• Act as the primary bridge between internal operations and external law firms.
• Provide authoritative legal guidance to influence operational decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal practice in industrial, mining, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Native Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken) are mandatory.
• Proven ability to exercise sound independent judgment in contract drafting.
• Strong presence and ability to influence business decisions.
• Self-sufficient work style with the ability to organize weekly schedules proactively.
