What you will do

  • Define security and networking requirements and flow them down to subsystems in accordance with project constraints.
  • Analyze and manage Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and oversee system evolutions.
  • Configure network subsystems, including COTS routers and firewalls, by operating on actual devices.
  • Support verification and validation phases by defining and documenting tests for security and networking.
  • Update technical documentation and specifications, including SSS, SSDD, DJD, and Test Plans.
  • Conduct architectural and performance studies for Cyber Security and communication solutions.

Requirements

  • Fluent Italian and English
  • Experience with network modeling tools (EveNG) and vulnerability analysis tools (NESSUS).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or Matlab.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (vSphere, Proxmox, VirtualBox) and Unix/Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools (DOORS, DOORS NG) and modeling languages (UML, SysML).
  • Familiarity with international standards, specifically MIL-STD-498.
